At September Peony we are so excited by the huge variety of different peony types available. There is such a wonderful range of shapes, colours and sizes we are looking forward to being able to constantly expand and build our collection.

 

In 2018 we started our trial patch with a small number of the following varieties:

• Sarah Bernhardt

• Marie Lamoine

• Karl Rosenfield

• Madame Calot

• Meadow Mist

• Festiva Maxima

• Krinkled White

• Red Grace

• Madame Emile Debatene

• Big Red Boomer Sooner

In 2019 we purchase a greater number of these same varieties as well as a number on new ones being:

 

We expect these peonies to produce flowers for sale in 2021.

In 2019 we also successfully imported a number of additional varieties that are either very difficult to get in Australia or not currently here. These were:

• Raspeberry Sundae

• Roselette

• Roselette's Child

• Show Girl

• Sunny Girl

These plants will be planted in Autumn 2020 once they are released from quarantine and flowers from them will be available for sale in 2023.

We hope to continue expanding our collection in years to come. If you have a particular favourite variety overseas please let us know and we will see if we can assist you in sourcing it locally, please note this will not be possible for large numbers.
